This antique Cunard Line Steamship silver plated round lidded dish features an Art Deco style design. These pieces were recovered from the famous ship that caught fire. The lid measures approx. 3" tall and has the mark of the Steamship company on top with the silver plated markings of Hutton Sheffield underneath the lip. The bowl measures approx. 8.25" wide and 1.25" tall with the silver plated markings of Elkingon & Co underneath. These have not been cleaned and have marks as well as a dent in the bowl. The lid does not sit properly on the bowl. With its historical significance and craftsmanship, this lidded dish is a valuable addition to any dining collection.
