Up for your consideration is a beautiful, authentic vintage European folk art wooden trinket or spice box. This exquisite piece features traditional hand-turned and hand-carved details, beautifully accented with hand-painted floral medallions in vibrant shades of white, red, green, and gold. Authentic hand-carved chip work and hand-painted folk art details (resembling classic Bavarian, German, or Oberammergau craftsmanship). The matching removable lid is decorated with a carved starburst/petal pattern and includes a functional top knob. The base of the container showcases a distinct carved artist signature or maker's mark into the raw wood grain. Perfect for storing small jewelry items, rings, or daily keepsakes, or utilizing as a decorative accent piece for rustic, bohemian, or eclectic decor. Shows beautiful aging to the wood tone with minimal surface scuffs. The paint remains bright and intact.
