This gorgeous piece features a striking, multi-colored songbird perched elegantly on a branch laden with berries, offset by a distinctive stone blue-gray background body. Based on a classic historical Spode design from circa 1780, this fine stoneware piece brings a refined touch of English country charm to any kitchen, tea collection, or display cabinet. It comes complete with its matching original lid topped with a sculpted finial. Based on the factory stamp on the bottom of the piece, this tea caddy was manufactured in November 1950 with no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. Paint and gilt trim remain bright and vibrant.
