Up for sale is a rare, vintage 1970s General Motors Institute (GMI) Hound Dog Figurine. This unique piece of collegiate and automotive history features a detailed hound dog standing on a circular pedestal base. The front prominently displays the classic General Motors Institute Flint emblem medallion embedded into the chest. He measures approx. 3 inches tall and shows a nice, authentic aged patina typical of cast metal items from this era. No major cracks or damage. GMI, located in Flint, Michigan, later evolved into Kettering University, making this an incredible collectible piece for alumni, automotive history buffs, or vintage mascot collectors.
