Up for sale is this beautiful, large 2.5 inch high-relief bronze historical official 1976 State of North Carolina American Revolution Bicentennial Commemorative Bronze Medal medal struck by the famous Medallic Art Company (MACO). The coin and stand have patina. The front proudly features The Great Seal of the State of North Carolina with the figures of Liberty and Plenty, the state motto (Esse Quam Videri), and the date May 20, 1775. The reverse features a detailed collage celebrating historical moments and cultural milestones of North Carolina. Comes complete with its original blue presentation box and display stand shown in photos. The presentation box shows wear, and the inner velvet-style tray holds the medal securely but also has wear from age.
