Up for sale is a beautiful antique/vintage serving bowl made by Midsilcraft in Middletown, Connecticut. The bowl measures approx. 6.25" wide and 4" tall with the bow areas. The sides of the glass bowl have small scuffs or scratches and the bottom has a mark from manufacturing. This piece features a classic combination of an ornate silver-plated base and a delicate frosted glass insert. The silver-plated base (EPNS) is adorned with a detailed relief scene featuring a Dutch-inspired landscape with windmills, houses, and foliage. The clear glass liner is decorated with frosted or etched floral motifs and a scalloped top rim. It fits perfectly into the metal stand. Ideal as a salad bowl, biscuit jar, or a decorative centerpiece for a vintage-inspired table setting.
