This set features a gorgeous pale turquoise blue glaze backdrop adorned with a vibrant bouquet of purple lilacs, detailed green foliage, and an elegant purple ribbon/bow design. The edges are beautifully scalloped. Features the prestigious Paragon Double Royal Warrant backstamp: "By Appointment to H.M. The Queen & H.M. Queen Mary." This specific stamp places the production of this set between 1937 and 1952. The cup measures approx. 2 inches tall and the saucer is 5.5 inches wide with no cracks, or crazing but does have some minor manufacturing flaws on the bottom edge. The silver trim and highlights are bright and intact with only minor surface marks consistent with light use and age.
