This is a circulated 1928 Series $100 Federal Reserve Banknote from the New York district (indicated by the letter "B" and the number 2 in the seal). This historic small-size note features the famous "Redeemable in Gold on Demand" clause above the left seal, a feature removed from later U.S. currency series. It also includes the rare large black numeral "2" bank seal on the left side, which was only utilized on the early 1928 series before being replaced by letter seals. This has clean borders and square corners with no major tears or heavy staining apparent. It displays circulation wear consisting of typical vertical folds and honest surface usage.
