Up for sale is a charming vintage miniature 5-piece set of hand-painted Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls featuring a colorful folk musician theme. The largest doll measures approximately 2.25 inches tall and features a detailed grandfather figure playing a traditional triangular balalaika. The second doll features a figure holding a garmon/accordion, followed by three progressively smaller nestled dolls decorated in vibrant traditional folk attire. All 5 pieces are carved from wood, completely hand-painted with bright details, and fit smoothly inside one another. There is minor paint wear consistent with age and handling. The third one has a small crack in the wood.
